About The Position

The Clinical Nurse in Endoscopy is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients and families while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong clinical expertise, transformational leadership, and a commitment to professional practice standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate for the Clinical Nurse position will have strong acute care or procedural experience to include, but not limited to, Endoscopy, Vascular Access, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire
  • All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
  • Strong acute care or procedural experience to include, but not limited to, Endoscopy, Vascular Access, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
  • OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Upon Hire
  • Certification in specialty practice area. Upon Hire

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and apply critical thinking to solve problems.
  • Safely manage and recover patients receiving moderate to Total IV Anesthesia (TIVA).
  • Demonstrate competency in endoscopy procedures and accurate documentation.
  • Serve as a patient advocate and maintain professionalism under stress.
  • Mentor staff, participate in process improvement projects, and support change initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
