Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, education, or related field.
• Three years of clinical experience required, operating room experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
• Must be highly motivated, creative, self-directed, articulate, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
• Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Basic Life Support certification required at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Nursing/Education preferred.
• Experience in precepting, curriculum development and instructional design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of adult education principles, learner-centered training, needs assessment and performance evaluation.
• Must possess a comprehensive broad based knowledge and the ability to interact with and educate all levels of learners within the Samaritan organization.
• Must have the ability to utilize a variety of educational tools and equipment.
