Care for our community, and your career. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or education, with a Master's degree in Nursing/Education preferred. A minimum of three years of clinical experience is required. Experience in supervision, curriculum development, and instructional design is desired. The role demands knowledge of adult education principles, learner-centered training, needs assessment, and performance evaluation. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, along with being highly motivated, creative, self-directed, articulate, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. The individual must possess comprehensive, broad-based knowledge and the ability to interact with and educate all levels of learners within the Samaritan organization. Proficiency in utilizing a variety of educational tools and equipment is necessary. A current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State is required. Basic Life Support certification is required at time of hire, with PALS and ALS required within 90 days of hire. Trauma certification is preferred. Attainment of Six Sigma Greenbelt certification within 2 years of hire is also required.
