About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Medical Stroke Telemetry is a full-time position located at Glenbrook Hospital. This role involves managing day-to-day clinical operations and unit workflow, ensuring high-quality patient care, and guiding a team of caregivers. The coordinator is accountable for patient outcomes, staff development through teaching and mentoring, and leading clinical performance management. Requirements

  • Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Prior management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
  • Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
  • Would assume direct patient care if necessary
  • Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
  • Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
  • Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
  • Takes lead on clinical performance management
