About The Position

Proximie is a healthcare technology company aiming to improve healthcare by connecting operating rooms. Their Intelligence Suite optimizes operating room (OR) performance using computer vision and AI to capture real-time data and detect surgical events, leading to optimized ORs with predictive analytics and automated notifications. Their Surgical Suite provides real-time remote access to procedures, creating a secure video record for training, education, and collaboration, ultimately improving patient outcomes. Proximie was commercialized in 2019 and is available in over 500 facilities globally. As Proximie accelerates its expansion across the United States, they are seeking Clinical Monitoring Specialists to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of their Intelligence Suite during new site onboarding. This role involves monitoring live surgical events in real-time to validate model accuracy and performing retrospective annotation of recorded surgical data to continuously train and improve computer vision models. This feedback loop is crucial for enhancing product performance and clinical reliability at scale. The company is currently hiring in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C., with other locations considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Proficient computer skills and confidence using multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Must be able to work from a safe, secure, and private environment free from distractions. This role involves real-time access to live surgical footage and other sensitive patient and clinical information; candidates must ensure their remote workspace meets appropriate confidentiality standards.
  • Availability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays in alignment with surgical scheduling demands.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote, internationally distributed team.
  • Comfortable working independently while following established processes and protocols.
