About The Position

Our nationally accredited team is currently seeking an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW clinical supervisor therapist to inspire and develop a superior clinical and administrative team that consistently exceeds the expectations of the clients and communities we serve! Our Mission : At Transitions Counseling and Consulting, we provide accessible, skilled mental health services for children, teenagers, and adults at convenient locations throughout Arizona. Our mission is to provide safe, high-quality mental health services in an ethical environment that embraces diversity and to train the next generation of therapists to also do so competently and confidently.

Requirements

  • Minimum master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
  • Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners on an independent level as an LMFT or LCSW.
  • Provide current level one fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
  • Continuously maintain active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of clinical supervision experience in the behavioral health field preferred but not required.
  • Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners Supervisor Training preferred but not required.
  • If Arizona Supervisor training is not complete at the time of hire, training should be completed within 30 days of start date (sponsored by our team).

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff.
  • Adhere to and track supervision policies, hours, and files to ensure compliance and development.
  • Address personnel issues, participate in the clinical interviewing and hiring process, and manage staff training and compliance needs.
  • Address patient concerns promptly and ensure the quality of care remains at the highest standard.
  • Participate in a rotating phone-based call schedule during hours-of-service delivery, along with other supervisory staff members.
  • Provide direct client therapy through evidence-based treatment according to an agreed-upon schedule, ensuring that each client receives personalized and effective care.
  • Work closely with other professionals, including therapists, interns, and clinical support staff, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Coordinate care with other professionals to support comprehensive treatment plans and positive outcomes.
