We have expanding needs for providers to join our offices in the following locations: San Marcos Adults, and Vista Way (Oceanside). Please note several of our Primary Care offices can be staffed by Internal Medicine and Family Medicine providers.

Requirements

  • Active or Pending California Medical License.
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • 6 yrs experience in a leadership role within a healthcare organization.
  • Leadership experience providing medical care to underserved populations, especially at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health center that provides medical services to similar populations is preferred.
  • 5 yrs of practice experience post-residency in Primary Care
  • Commitment to Patient-Centered Care & Health Equity.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish & English (Preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive clinical, quality, and risk leadership.
  • Developing clinical teams through recruitment, training, and coaching.
  • Collaborate with Operations and leadership to ensure clinical coverage.
  • Assisting the CMO and executive team with communications and strategic planning.
  • Participating in Medical Executive and Credentialing Committees.
  • Provide Primary Care coverage to patients in need within our FQHC network.
  • Join a Saturday Clinic Rotation (replaces one weekday clinic).
  • Streamline processes to improve patient flow, satisfaction, and provider efficiency.
  • When in clinic see 20 patients per day in 20 min scheduling blocks | 2:1 MA to Provider Ratio, 3 Exam Rooms to Rotate between.
