About The Position

Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse leader to provide comprehensive hospice care to patients in the final stages of life. Clinical Managers meet patients and families in settings where they feel most comfortable, including private homes, long-term care communities, assisted living residences, and hospitals. Care is tailored to each patient's needs and addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

The Clinical Manager works collaboratively with family members and caregivers to honor patients' needs and wishes, providing care with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Requirements

• Active RN license, or ability to activate one, in the state(s) in which the employee operates.
• Active CPR certification.
• Hospice or palliative care experience.
• At least one year in a leadership or charge nurse position, or relative experience.
• Two years of recent clinical experience in hospice, oncology, home health, or public health nursing.
• Home access to the internet.

Nice To Haves

• Hospice experience is preferred.
• Hospice and Palliative Registered Nurse Certification (CHPN) preferred, or ability to obtain it within 24 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meet patients and families in their preferred care setting, including homes, long-term care communities, assisted living residences, and hospitals.
• Address patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
