About The Position

The purpose of The Clinical Manager - AIC is to provide supervision of staff in the Ambulatory Infusion Centers, ensuring that infusion services provided are appropriate, safe, and compliant with accreditation, regulatory and nursing standards. The Clinical Manager is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all direct patient care as well as financial/operational oversight in the territory assigned. They will conduct annual performance appraisals, provide documentation related to personnel and HR matters, work closely with the Nurse educator in the orientation of new staff and continuing education, and provide effective communication to all staff. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for interactions with staff, other agencies, patients, and families, and demonstrates knowledge of organization policies related to work standards and patient management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Active Registered Nurse or Advance Practice Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • A minimum of two years of health care management experience.
  • Previous infusion experience.
  • BLS or obtain upon hire.
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of protected health information and follow all HIPAA policies.
  • Must have access to sensitive information and understand that a breach of information may be grounds for immediate termination.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision of staff in the Ambulatory Infusion Centers.
  • Ensure infusion services provided are appropriate, safe, and compliant with accreditation, regulatory and nursing standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise all direct patient care.
  • Provide financial/operational oversight in the territory assigned.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals on designated employees.
  • Provide accurate documentation related to personnel and HR matters involving direct reports.
  • Work closely with the Nurse educator in the orientation of new staff as well as continuing educational needs of all staff.
  • Provide effective communication so all staff are aware of current and future information at Palmetto Infusion.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of organization policies related to work standards and patient Management.
