About The Position

Howard Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our INCLUSION TABS (Tutoring and Behavioral Services) K to 5th grade program. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed clinician and leader who is committed to helping children with emotional, behavioral, neurodivergent, and intellectual disabilities achieve success through individualized, trauma-informed educational and behavioral supports. As the Clinical Manager, you will provide clinical leadership, staff supervision, program oversight, crisis management, and direct support to students and families while helping shape the future of a highly specialized educational treatment program. You will play a critical role in fostering a safe, supportive, and growth-oriented environment where students can develop the skills needed to transition successfully to less restrictive educational settings. About INCLUSION TABS INCLUSION TABS is a licensed tutorial program that provides intensive, trauma-informed educational and behavioral treatment services for children who require a highly individualized learning environment. Serving up to nine students at a time, the program offers short-term, one-to-one academic and behavioral support designed to strengthen emotional regulation, communication, social-emotional functioning, adaptive skills, independence, and academic achievement.

Requirements

Master's degree in a relevant field.
Vermont licensure or license eligibility as one of the following: Psychologist, Special Educator, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
3–5 years of relevant clinical experience.
1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and direction for the INCLUSION Program- TABS.
Provide direct clinical services and crisis response as needed.
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of individualized treatment and instructional programming.
Ensure evidence-based and trauma-informed practices are embedded throughout the program.
Deliver clinical training, coaching, and consultation to direct care staff.
Foster a culture of professional growth, collaboration, and excellence.
Support team members in delivering high-quality educational and behavioral services.
Maintain budget awareness and participate in program budgeting activities.
Conduct behavioral assessments, develop behavior plans, and complete related documentation.
Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support student success.
