Pediatric Nurse Manager, RN
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pittsburgh, PA Pediatric Home Care office as a Clinical Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pediatric RN to take the next step in their career by combining hands-on clinical expertise with leadership, mentorship, and staff development. As a Clinical Manager, you will play a key role in supporting pediatric clients and their families while leading and developing a team of dedicated field nurses. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Hands-on pediatric nursing experience required
- Recent bedside nursing experience required
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the service area as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Home care or home health experience preferred
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred, or a willingness to learn
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and motivate clinical staff to provide exceptional pediatric care
- Conduct in-home client assessments and supervisory visits throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding areas
- Develop individualized pediatric care plans and oversee their implementation
- Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and support to field nursing staff
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding for new nurses
- Participate in the training, mentoring, and development of new and tenured nurses
- Coordinate and provide ongoing in-services and education for field staff
- Serve as a clinical resource for nurses, clients, and families
- Support quality care delivery and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
