About The Position

Clinical Liaison (RN or RT/RRT) at Select Specialty Hospital - Tulsa, a Critical Illness Recovery Hospital (LTACH). In this role, you will advocate for referred patients during the pre-admission process by collaborating with clinical teams to assess patient needs. You will serve as a resource for healthcare professionals by fostering relationships within medical facilities. Utilizing clinical expertise and problem-solving skills, you will coordinate care plans with physicians and families. Additionally, you will facilitate patient transfers and address barriers to accessing specialized post-ICU care. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, with weekend coverage rotation. The role offers a competitive salary ($77,000 - $100,000) plus uncapped monthly bonus incentives and an extensive onboarding & training program.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License. Will consider other designations like LPN, PT, OT, etc., upon further review.
  • Ability to complete clinical assessments of medically complex patients.

  • Prior healthcare marketing or business development experience is preferred, but extensive training is provided on this piece.

Responsibilities

  • Work with physicians, discharge planners, and patients' families to plan the best continuum of care after an ICU or post-surgical stay by utilizing strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform clinical assessments of referred patients, then counsel with patients' families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
  • Partner with hospital case managers and physicians to create a smooth pre-admission and transfer process by removing payer-related and operational barriers for patients getting into our highly effective level of care.
  • Advocate for referred patients in the pre-admission process by collaborating with clinical teams to assess patient needs.
  • Serve as a resource for healthcare professionals through fostering relationships within medical facilities.
