About The Position

Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Stockton, California is a modern inpatient rehabilitation hospital devoted to restoring hope and function for patients after life-changing injuries or illnesses. Our hospital provides specialized rehab services for stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic surgery recovery, and other complex conditions. With a caring team of physicians, rehabilitation nurses and licensed therapists, we deliver intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. Accredited and part of Ernest Health’s nationally recognized network, Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital focuses on compassionate, effective care that helps patients regain independence and quality of life. This position will cover the Bay Area.

Requirements

  • Active clinical license required: LVN, RN, PT, OT, or RT
  • Experience in a healthcare setting promoting programs or services
  • Strong clinical assessment and admission decision‑making skills
  • Proven ability to build and sustain professional referral relationships
  • Patient‑focused mindset with a high level of integrity and follow‑through
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and accountable for results
  • Current, valid, and active drivers’ license, proof of automobile insurance, and clean driving record required
  • 3 years healthcare experience preferred (healthcare sales experienced preferred).
  • Current, valid, and active clinical licensure required (RN, LVN/LPN, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Respiratory Therapist)).
  • Ability to travel in regional area on a regular basis.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of patient mix, regulatory requirements, reimbursements, etc., that impact overall hospital operations.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for evaluating patients and determining if s/he meets admissions criteria.
  • Prepares development plans, conducts calls, and presents to potential referral sources.
  • Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
  • As a Clinical Liaison, you are responsible for evaluating patients for admission, educate referral partners on the value of inpatient rehabilitation, and driving growth within an assigned territory.
  • You will collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and hospital leadership to ensure timely access to care while representing our hospital with professionalism, credibility, and accountability.
