About The Position

The Clinical Learning Specialist will provide direction for on and off-site training activities and learning events, working with vendors and venues. This role serves as the lead planner for national clinical learning event logistics, including sourcing hotels/venues, coordinating with vendors, managing planning meetings, and overseeing vendor relations. The specialist will plan and execute events such as Days of Learning, Top Docs, and other CE Learning Events, potentially traveling up to 20% of the time for on-site support. Responsibilities include managing live and virtual experiences, logistics, setup, facilities, equipment, and contract signatures. The role also involves administering the budget for learning events, executing material production and supply orders, and ensuring AGD compliance. Additionally, the specialist will provide clinical expertise, program leadership, and task execution by partnering in the implementation of learning events and programs, equipping facilitators, meeting with SMEs, supporting regional teams, and co-creating event assets. They will also implement and administer tracking for the CE program approval process and utilization. As an active member of the Talent Management team, the specialist will visit practices and support field teams/leaders with ongoing learning needs. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Talent Management.

Requirements

  • Experience with mentoring and training
  • Minimum 3 years of work-related experience in a clinical dental setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction when working with vendors and venues for on and off-site training activities and learning events.
  • Serves as the lead planner for national clinical learning event logistics, providing hotel/venue sourcing, coordinating with venues/catering/vendors, coordinating planning meetings, vendor relations, and planning services for: Days of Learning, Top Docs, and other CE Learning Events, with up to 20% of time spent traveling to provide on-site support.
  • Oversees planning, logistics and setup, facilities and equipment management, and contract signatures for live & virtual experiences.
  • Administer the allocated budget for all learning events and activities.
  • Execute all event material production, supply orders, and other required documents, monitoring quantities and distribution.
  • Ensures AGD compliance according to established MDP procedure.
  • Provides clinical expertise, program leadership, and successful task execution through administration, partnering, and implementing learning events and programs, including, but not limited to, equipping facilitators, meeting with SMEs, supporting regional teams, and co-creating event assets.
  • Implement and administer tracking for CE program approval process and utilization.
  • Be an active member of the Talent Management team, visiting practices and supporting field teams/leaders with ongoing learning needs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Talent Management.
