Clinical Lead RN - One Health Family Medicine & Urgent Care - NoDa FT
About The Position
As an RN in our urgent care setting, no two days are the same. You’ll play a vital role in triaging patients, assisting with procedures, running point-of-care labs, administering medications, and applying a wide range of clinical skills to support timely, quality care in a fast-paced environment. The Clinical Lead RN will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 3 Years of RN experience
Nice To Haves
- Urgent Care, ED, ICU experience preferred
- Bachelor’s in nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Triage assess acuity.
- Obtains vitals.
- Administer medications, injections and vaccinations.
- Perform Point of Care testing, lab specimen collection.
- Assist with procedures such as splinting, wound care, blood draws.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
