Clinical Lead (MA/Therapist) Mobile Assessor Team
About The Position

We offer mental health evaluations to children, adolescents, adults and older adults in crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week response, including all holidays. Our service model focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of your mental health patients. Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Clinical Lead Therapist to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.The Clinical Lead has the responsibility of providing assistance to the Clinical Director, leading and supporting a team of mobile assessors while overseeing call center workflows to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Nursing Degree or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
- Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”).
- Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- 3-5 years of similar experience / Leadership experience

- 5-8 years of similar experience
Responsibilities
- Support with review of clinical assessment/referral documentation, filing of involuntary commitment paperwork (where applicable)
- Daily communication with referral sources regarding patient case status
- Assistance with interviews, new hire orientation and training of Clinical Assessment Team Evaluators in workflow processes and procedures
- Help with team scheduling, payroll and daily reports
