About The Position
The Laboratory is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist responsible for performing quality laboratory testing, interpreting results, and ensuring adherence to quality control procedures. The role involves maintaining a fully operational laboratory environment for reliable and rapid laboratory results, contributing to patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a graduate of an accredited School of Medical Technology.
- Current State of California Clinical Laboratory Technologist License and ASCP Registration required.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of Medical Technology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs testing in chemical, microscopic, microbiological, blood bank, hematological, and serological areas for disease diagnosis and treatment.
- Responsible for accurate examination and analysis of laboratory tests.
- Maintains proficiency in venous phlebotomy procedures.
- Participates in the routine operation of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
