About The Position
Main Line Health is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Bryn Mawr Hospital. The position performs a variety of complex laboratory testing to help detect, diagnose, and treat disease. This role does not include Blood Bank, and generalist experience is preferred. The position is on the evening shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Training lasts approximately eight weeks and is mostly on the day shift.
Requirements
- Ability to perform procedures contained in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results.
- Demonstrated communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Generalist experience preferred.
- Previous laboratory computer system experience preferred.
- MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
