About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist for a full-time day shift position in Redding, CA. This role involves performing waived, moderate, or highly complex tests authorized by CLIA and requires a degree of skill commensurate with the individual's education, training, experience, and technical abilities. Requirements
- ASCP certification, or equivalent, required
- Requires one year of clinical laboratory work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA
- Requires current and valid California State License.
Responsibilities
- Supervise section operations and staff performance
- Ensure accuracy of test results and quality control standards
- Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements
- Oversee quality assurance, policies, and procedures
- Perform laboratory testing using manual and automated methods
- Support equipment maintenance and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with medical staff and leadership as a technical resource
- Complete additional duties as assigned
