About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist for a full-time, day shift position in Redding, CA. This role involves performing waived, moderate, or highly complex tests authorized by CLIA, ensuring accuracy of results and quality control, maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing quality assurance, performing laboratory testing, supporting equipment maintenance, and collaborating with medical staff as a technical resource. Requirements
- ASCP certification, or equivalent, required
- One year of clinical laboratory work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA
- Current and valid California State License
Responsibilities
- Supervise section operations and staff performance
- Ensure accuracy of test results and quality control standards
- Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements
- Oversee quality assurance, policies, and procedures
- Perform laboratory testing using manual and automated methods
- Support equipment maintenance and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with medical staff and leadership as a technical resource
- Complete additional duties as assigned
