About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist for a full-time, variable shift position in Victorville, CA. This role involves performing waived, moderate, or highly complex tests authorized by CLIA, ensuring accuracy of results and quality control, maintaining regulatory compliance, and overseeing quality assurance. The position also includes supervising section operations, performing laboratory testing, supporting equipment maintenance, and acting as a technical resource for medical staff and leadership.
Requirements
- ASCP certification, or equivalent, required
- One year of clinical laboratory work experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA
- Current and valid California State License
Responsibilities
- Supervise section operations and staff performance
- Ensure accuracy of test results and quality control standards
- Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements
- Oversee quality assurance, policies, and procedures
- Perform laboratory testing using manual and automated methods
- Support equipment maintenance and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with medical staff and leadership as a technical resource
- Complete additional duties as assigned
