About The Position
This is a part-time Clinical Laboratory Assistant position on the 1st shift. The role involves contributing to a teamwork environment with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and comprehensive training. The position is located at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort. Worth, TX 76104, with work hours of 24 hours/weekdays, specifically Tuesday-Friday 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM and Every Saturday 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM, with rotating holidays. Texas Health Fort Worth is an 851-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service hospital serving the Fort Worth community since 1930, offering advanced care in various specialties and holding multiple certifications and recognitions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- CLIAFE – must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
- Completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy preferred.
- 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist highly preferred.
- Hospital experience highly preferred.
- PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.
