About The Position

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist III, Section Lead reports directly to the Supervisor, Laboratory Director and the Medical Director and is assigned to perform accurate and timely laboratory testing in the assigned sections of the laboratory. This position also may monitor technicians and other non independent practitioners. Must be able to use independent judgement and knowledge. Lead CLS for the assigned section under administrative direction is responsible for maintenance of policies, procedures and quality control practices. Provides management and accreditation support. Provides for a self-directed team approach to a customer driven service initiative.
