As our Clinical Lab Scientist I (CLS I), you will perform routine and complex testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory in a timely manner with a minimum of direct supervision. Every day, you will provide training and technical assistance for coworkers. To be successful in this role, you will monitor and evaluate quality control for testing performed.
Requirements
- Required CA Medical Technologist license
- Six (6) months clinical laboratory experience as a medical technologist
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to be an effective team member, and work with many publics across all departments
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of principles, procedures, and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory in a timely manner with a minimum of direct supervision.
- Provide training and technical assistance for coworkers.
- Monitor and evaluate quality control for testing performed.
- Performs routine maintenance and repair on instruments utilized.
