One California As our Clinical Lab Scientist I (CLS I), you will perform routine and complex testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory in a timely manner with a minimum of direct supervision.
Requirements
- CA Medical Technologist license
- Six (6) months clinical laboratory experience as a medical technologist
- Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory in a timely manner with a minimum of direct supervision.
- Provide training and technical assistance for coworkers.
- Monitor and evaluate quality control for testing performed.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to be an effective team member, and work with many publics across all departments.
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of principles, procedures, and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis.
- Performs routing maintenance and repair on instruments utilized.
