Physician: Clinical Investigator, Head and Neck Oncology Program
About The Position
The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University School of Medicine/ Boston Medical Center seeks a Clinical Investigator to join the Program in Head and Neck Oncology. The successful candidate will have outstanding clinical skills and the ability to lead clinical and translational research initiatives within this rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary program. Research and clinical collaboration with investigators in a robust Head and Neck cancer research program in the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine is a particularly strong opportunity. Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise in the treatment of Head and Neck Cancer and in clinical/translational investigation; however, outstanding candidates at the beginning of their careers will be also be considered.
Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD
- Board-certified in Medical Oncology
- Licensed or eligible for a medical license in the state of Massachusetts
- Demonstrated expertise in the treatment of Head and Neck Cancer and in clinical/translational investigation (outstanding early-career candidates will also be considered)
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical and translational research initiatives within the Head and Neck Oncology Program.
- Conduct research and clinical collaboration with investigators in the Head and Neck cancer research program at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
