About The Position
Virginia Western Community College is seeking part-time Clinical Instructors for its Registered Nursing Program in the School of Health Professions. Located in Roanoke, VA, the college serves a region including Roanoke, Salem, Roanoke County, Craig County, Franklin County, and southern Botetourt County. The college was established in 1966 and currently serves over 9,000 students in credit courses and more than 1,400 in workforce and continuing education courses. This role involves teaching in various clinical settings, including Long Term Care, Pediatric, Mother-baby, and Medical/Surgical. Instructors are expected to stay current in their nursing practice, teaching disciplines, and trends in nursing education.
