The UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health, part of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking a full-time Clinical Instructor faculty member. The Center's Institute for Best Practice offers training, consultation, and evaluations to support evidence-based practices throughout North Carolina and beyond. A key focus is supporting peer specialists within various community-based services, including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Individual Placement and Support (IPS) for supported employment, and Community Support Teams (CST). This role involves networking with peer specialists statewide and providing clinical supervision to them. The position also requires developing expertise as a co-evaluator using the Tool for Measurement of ACT (TMACT) fidelity tool. Responsibilities include assisting with training curriculum development, delivering training materials both in-person and virtually, and providing on-site consultation to teams. Strong writing, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential. The role requires frequent in-state travel (approximately 4 days per month) and occasional out-of-state travel. The office will be located in Carrboro, NC, or Morrisville, NC, with potential for up to six days of office-based work per month.
