About The Position

The Clinical Instructor will be involved in the interview and selection of candidates for the CNA Training Program, and instruction of the CNA curriculum. They will serve as a teacher, mentor and facilitator of learning, and will work closely with the Staff Development Coordinator to help identify other educational initiatives and opportunities within the Home. This position is part of the on-call rotation for the home.

Requirements

  • Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maine
  • Experience and/or training in instructional education
  • Experience or training with and ability to organize, direct, and instruct
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet educational requirements
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English
  • Basic computer skills
