About The Position

The Radiology Clinical Instructor plays a critical role in delivering didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical education and rounding of students for the hospital-based Radiology Technology program. This role supports student success, competency-based clinical experiences in alignment with JRCERT accreditation standards, ARRT requirements, and hospital imaging practices. The Radiologic Clinical Instructor works closely with the Radiologic Technology Program Director, Clinical Coordinator, students, and program faculty to create a supportive classroom and clinically relevant learning environment.

Requirements

  • ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (R), in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience in radiography.
  • One (1) year of clinical teaching or precepting experience.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience in a hospital-based academic setting.
  • Familiarity with clinical scheduling, learning management systems, and accreditation documentation.
  • Knowledge of JRCERT standards and clinical education best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, faculty, and clinical staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, clinical tracking software (e.g., Trajecsys, EXXAT), and hospital systems (e.g., Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)/ Radiology Information System (RIS).
