About The Position
The successful candidate will be teaching in both clinical and laboratory settings and contributing to professional and community service. This is a half-time (0.5 FTE) faculty position, working 9 months per year. This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field (required to align with ISU’s B.S. in Dental Hygiene curriculum).
- Graduation from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
- Active Idaho Dental Hygiene license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to hire).
- Educational background and clinical experience in nonsurgical periodontal therapy.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in administering local anesthesia.
