About The Position
Idaho State University is seeking a Clinical Instructor for Dental Hygiene. This is a half-time (0.5 FTE) faculty position, working 9 months per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in both clinical and laboratory settings and contributing to professional and community service. This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time, but candidates with valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field (required to align with ISU’s B.S. in Dental Hygiene curriculum).
- Graduation from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
- Active Idaho Dental Hygiene license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to hire).
- Educational background and clinical experience in nonsurgical periodontal therapy.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in administering local anesthesia.
