About The Position

The Clinical Informaticist Deployment Site Practitioner supports the full lifecycle of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation across multiple medical centers. In this role, you will be responsible for performing/organizing discovery efforts at various hospitals & clinics (i.e. sites) related to workflows, clinical services, SOPs, shared services, & research information and perform post discovery analysis to inform functional & clinical scope and requirements. You will help build an understanding of the client's standard capabilities requirements, workflows and services that are essential to deliver meaningful discovery and gap analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience are valued
  • Previous Oracle Health EHR implementation experience
  • Experience in hospital & clinic assessments with knowledge of clinical information systems, including inpatient and outpatient services
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the Oracle Health solutions to client audiences
  • The ability to travel is an essential function of this role and may vary based on client, enterprise or project needs, with up to 50% travel to client sites nationwide
  • Candidates must comply with applicable client requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates
  • US Citizen Required

  • Previous Federal Health consulting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support development of recommendations to address identified capability gaps throughout the deployment lifecycle
  • Own and manage relationships with key clinical and functional stakeholders ensuring functional readiness for transition to the new EHR
  • Act as a liaison between technical and clinical teams, translating requirements and changes for deployment sites
  • Collaborate with Change Management (CM) and End User Engagement & Adoption (EUEA) teams to provide clinical guidance
  • Support key deployment activities, including User Readiness Assessments (URA), data collection and system build, testing, training, and adoption events
  • Document lessons learned during deployment to inform and improve future implementations
