About The Position

Medable is seeking a Clinical Implementation Specialist to coordinate solution design and lead technical implementations of its clinical-trial platform. The role maps clinical protocols and customer requirements to software solutions, provides platform expertise and technical guidance, and supports customer launches and adoption. It also serves as a connection between customers and Medable’s product development team, translating customer feedback into actionable insights and product improvements. The position is remote from the start and may require travel as needed.

Requirements

At least 4 years of technical experience in technical implementation, product management, solution design, or a related role, or a combination of education and experience.
Ability to understand and interpret clinical trial documentation, including protocols, clinical data models, and other eClinical data collection instruments.
Demonstrated experience interpreting client requirements and designing solutions, including preparing and documenting design specifications.
Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, development, testing, and software implementation.
Strong knowledge of clinical trial data management processes and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Comprehensive understanding of clinical trial domains, specifically eCOA, ePRO, EDC, and DCT.
Proven experience in client relations and interactions with clients at all levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
Strong technical understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Exceptional customer-facing and technical communication skills.
Proven ability to gather and articulate technical customer requirements.
Excellent technical project management and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in the app publication process.
Familiarity with Git, Confluence, Postman, and Terminal (command line).
Strong project management skills, technical aptitude, ability to learn software programs, and good time-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the overall Solutions Design process, ensuring clinical protocols are mapped to software solutions accurately, efficiently, and within project scope.
Use in-depth knowledge of Medable’s software, technology, and processes to guide clients toward effective use of the platform for their needs and therapeutic areas.
Develop and communicate design best practices.
Participate in Sales to Service, Kick-Off, Solutions Overview, Specification Review, and Software Review activities.
Develop supporting documentation to streamline software design and configuration.
Lead and execute end-to-end technical implementations for customer accounts, including product configuration and customization, technical testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
Manage implementation releases, timelines, technical milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects meet schedule, scope, technical, and customer expectations.
Represent the customer’s voice within the product organization by providing actionable technical insights, feedback, and feature requests.
Collaborate with product teams to translate customer feedback into product enhancements, scope additional features, and inform the product roadmap.
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, including creating and reviewing technical design documentation to ensure development follows technical standards.
Support customer technical training and onboarding to enable successful product launches and adoption.
