The Clinical Implementation Consultant serves as the clinical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for healthcare data archiving, legacy-system retirement, and clinical data migration initiatives. This client-facing role serves as the clinical liaison between healthcare organizations and ELLKAY's technical and implementation teams, ensuring historical patient information is preserved accurately and remains accessible, interpretable, and usable following migration. The Clinical Implementation Consultant is responsible for evaluating the clinical integrity of the archived patient record, including whether information retains its intended clinical meaning, context, chronology, relationships, and usability after migration. The role translates clinical workflows, source-system functionality, and medical-record requirements into clear solution-design, configuration, data-mapping, testing, and validation requirements. Working collaboratively with Project Management, Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Data Modeling, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product, Center of Excellence, Clinical Success Management, and Support, the Clinical Implementation Consultant supports the full implementation lifecycle from discovery and solution design through data validation, client acceptance, go-live, stabilization, and transition to support. The role does not replace the technical accountability of Data Engineering, Data Mapping, Quality Assurance, or Project Management. This role provides the clinical expertise necessary to ensure technical implementation decisions preserve the meaning, integrity, accessibility, and usability of the historical clinical record.
