About The Position
The Clinical Imaging Assistant supports radiology procedures at Skokie Hospital by preparing patients for exams, maintaining and disinfecting imaging equipment and work areas, helping manage staff supply inventory, and assisting with patient transport to and from procedures. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and local travel.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- CPR certification required.
- Strong team-player skills, good communication, self-motivation, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical aide and/or professional healthcare environment experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing patients for exams.
- Maintain and disinfect imaging equipment and the work area.
- Help manage inventory of supplies for staff.
- Assist with transporting patients in and out of procedures.
