About The Position
Northern Manhattan Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY) to join our rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate to complete their Clinical Fellowship in a supportive skilled nursing environment while gaining hands-on experience with a diverse resident population.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligible to complete a Clinical Fellowship in New York
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
- New graduates seeking their CFY are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
- Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia
- Monitor progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
