About The Position

The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed leader. They provide quality exercise and health education for patients, ensuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. The role requires productivity and efficiency in daily operations. The specialist establishes and updates exercise programs to meet client/participant needs, supervises and assists clients/participants with their daily exercise sessions, and ensures client/participant safety. They provide effective instruction to clients/participants and their families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training, and support the health education needs of the center. The role also involves supporting therapists/providers in delivering effective treatment plans, documenting patient response to treatment, and completing other clinical duties as assigned. The specialist demonstrates the ability to offer support and potential enhancements of services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
  • 1 year of clinical experience.
  • Front desk admin experience
  • Personal training experience
  • Gym coverage
