About The Position

The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed leader. They provide quality exercise and health education for patients, ensuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. The role requires productivity and efficiency in daily operations, establishing and updating exercise programs to meet client/participant needs. This includes supervising and assisting clients/participants with their daily exercise sessions, ensuring their safety, and providing effective instruction to clients/participants and their families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. The specialist also supports the health education needs of the center, assists therapists/providers in delivering effective treatment plans, documents patient response to treatment, and completes other clinical duties as assigned. Demonstrates the ability to offer support and potential enhancements of services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
  • 1 year of clinical experience required.
  • Front desk admin experience
  • Personal training experience
  • Gym coverage
