About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) to join their Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a PRN opportunity with flexible day shift hours. The role involves assessing patients’ fitness levels, developing tailored exercise prescriptions, and monitoring their responses during supervised sessions. The CEP will collaborate with physicians and care teams, interpret diagnostic data, and guide patients toward safer movement, improved endurance, and long-term cardiovascular health.

Requirements

• 3-5 Years Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience
• 3-5 Years Clinical Cardiac Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients across Phases I–III
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide individualized treatment plans
• Design and implement exercise prescriptions and facilitate progression based on patient needs
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including EKG monitoring and interpretation
• Educate patients and families on risk factor management, heart-healthy lifestyles, and long-term wellness
• Complete all required documentation, billing, and coordinate communication with physicians
