Clinical Educator / RN Progressive Care
About The Position
Portneuf Medical Center is hiring a full-time, variable-shift Clinical Educator Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Pocatello, Idaho. The position works with the Education Manager to provide education in accordance with regulatory requirements and hospital requirements. The Clinical Nurse Educator has a strong clinical background and demonstrated leadership abilities, and actively educates and develops nursing staff at the patient bedside, helping them progress from novice to expert. The educator uses evidence-based practice to enhance clinical care quality across the continuum and models and maintains clinical and professional excellence. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- Strong clinical background.

- Previous experience as a nurse educator or instructor in the clinical setting.
