The Clinical Educator is responsible for developing, planning, implementing and organizing a variety of education activities including individual, department and hospital wide programs. This role involves coordinating onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education for staff. The Clinical Educator will develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs to support employee development and organizational goals. They will partner with leadership to identify learning needs and implement education, quality, and patient safety initiatives. Additionally, the role requires monitoring, analyzing, and sharing performance data to support continuous improvement efforts, leading education-related projects, committees, and team development activities. The Clinical Educator will provide education, coaching, and subject matter expertise to staff and leaders, maintain current clinical knowledge, and support changes in nursing practice and regulatory requirements. Utilizing learning management and data systems to support education programs and reporting is also a key function, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable federal, state, accreditation, and licensing requirements.
