About The Position

Coordinates and participates in specialized respiratory care clinical programs. Educates respiratory care staff, students, and multidisciplinary staff, and participates in intra- and interdisciplinary activities and programs. Demonstrates effective communication skills and the teaching ability and techniques required for effective job performance. The role may involve exposure to hazardous materials; physical task requirements are listed in the respiratory therapist job analysis.

Requirements

• Five years of respiratory care experience, including critical care experience.
• Two years of supervisory or assistant supervisory experience.
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Current New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license.
• Maintain BLS and NALS certifications.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS/PALS certification is optional.
