About The Position
This position is for a Clinical Educator specializing in Labor, Delivery Recovery & Postpartum care. The role involves educating staff and ensuring high standards of clinical practice within this specialized area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- Previous clinical nursing experience in Labor and Delivery, Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum, maternal-child health or a closely related specialty required
- Strong clinical knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, postpartum care, newborn assessment and obstetric emergency response
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required or obtained within established department guidelines
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Nice To Haves
- master’s degree in Nursing preferred
- 3+ years of experience in clinical education, training and development, nursing professional development or a related role preferred
- Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification strongly preferred
- Instructor certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP or fetal monitoring preferred
- Experience developing or facilitating clinical simulation, competency validation and staff education strongly preferred
