Clinical Education Specialist
About The Position
This role is for a Clinical Education Specialist (CES) at 410 Medical, a company focused on solving the problem of time in critical resuscitation situations with their device, LifeFlow®. The CES will be responsible for training clinicians (nurses, physicians, paramedics) on how to use LifeFlow® effectively in various settings such as EDs, ICUs, and EMS systems. This is a hands-on role that involves direct training in clinical environments and aims to improve patient outcomes by ensuring rapid and safe volume resuscitation. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with frontline healthcare providers and contribute to the company's mission.
Requirements
- RN license or Paramedic certification
- 5+ years of clinical experience in the ED, ICU, or ALS-level EMS setting
- Comfort navigating a hospital
- Strong communication skills to explain complex clinical concepts effectively and quickly
- Stamina and flexibility for up to 75% travel, occasional nights/weekends, and extended periods on your feet
- Ability to manage a ~25 lb detail bag
- Must have a home base near a major airport (ideally in Chicago, IL)
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of clinical education experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Train nurses, physicians, and paramedics on LifeFlow® through hands-on sessions at hospitals and EMS agencies within their territory.
- Build relationships and become a trusted clinical resource for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with Clinical Sales Specialists to increase LifeFlow® awareness and proficiency in target accounts.
- Provide field feedback to the product development team.
- Assist customers in integrating LifeFlow® into their order sets, protocols, and clinical workflows.
- Gather user cases and outcomes to share with the broader clinical community.
