About The Position

The purpose of this position is to oversee the clinical operation, program development and direct supervision of staff. This role collaborates with the Executive Director/or Regional VP and Program Coordinator(s) to enhance and provide education to the staff, clients and family members associated with the residential treatment program. The Clinical Director monitors all clinical records and programming to ensure they meet or exceed Department of State Health Services, Joint Commission and TRS standards. They develop, implement and maintain program curriculum using evidenced based treatment and utilizing best practices with approval from the Executive Director/or Regional VP. This position also provides specialty services to clients to enhance their treatment experience and provides direct supervision to clinical staff and direct reports. Additional responsibilities include training and assisting in the professional development of staff, conducting regularly scheduled meetings with staff to communicate issues regarding procedures, processes and overall effectiveness, assisting with marketing and community relations as needed, conducting specialty groups as outlined by the Executive Director/or Regional VP, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure required.
  • A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, master’s of science social work, master’s of psychology or a master’s in a counseling-related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • Three years direct clinical services experience plus three years in a supervisory or management role.
