Clinical Director (Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, LPHA)
About The Position
Wilson Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in the north side of Chicago, IL, seeks an Empathic Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA). We are dedicated to the treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric illnesses. Located in a residential housing setting in beautiful Chicago, Illinois, we treat a variety of conditions, including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, as well as those who are dually diagnosed with a mental illness and substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Must meet the definition of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as defined by the Illinois Mental Health Code (LCSW, LCPC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PMHNP, LMFT, etc.)
- We will also consider qualified LSWs or LPCs with CLINICAL LICENSE PENDING
- At least two (2) years of experience in direct care of individuals with psychiatric disorders
- Experience with evidence based treatment modalities including wellness recovery action plans, illness management and recovery, dual diagnosis, and trauma informed care
- Serve as a member of the leadership team
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively and delegate authority
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Nice To Haves
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred
- Physician
- Advanced practice nurse with psychiatric specialty
Responsibilities
- Direct overall operations in collaboration with the Executive Director
- Train and supervise staff
- Oversight of the implementation of treatment programs
- Develop Performance Improvement Project (PIP) tools to improve the delivery of care
- Make recommendations regarding staffing and operations to the Executive Director
- Oversee the assessment of all potential residents
- Provide clinical case supervision of all treatment personnel
- Develop and coordinate educational in-services
- Coordinate referrals of residents to services the facility does not provide
- Supervise the QMHPs, MHPs, CRRSs and RSAs
- Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations
