About The Position

The Clinical Director will provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to the facility to ensure smooth daily function, ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap, cultivate and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team, providing consistent oversight, support, and professional development, oversee client engagement and morale, interacting with every client and fostering a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere, and ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary. This role is for our newest Detox and Residential treatment facility, opening in North Chesterfield, VA.

Requirements

Master's degree (or higher) in related field preferred
5 years' supervisory experience in hospital/residential setting preferred
3 years' experience in chemical dependency/dual diagnosed clients
Current licensure necessary to practice as Clinical Director in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LSATP)

Responsibilities

Oversee client engagement and morale, interacting with every client and fostering a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere
Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary
