Position Summary The Clinical Director ensures that substance use treatment services are delivered at the highest level of quality, promoting client independence, family empowerment, and long-term recovery outcomes. This role provides individual, group, and family therapy while overseeing the clinical team, ensuring compliance, and driving excellence in treatment delivery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active Idaho licensure: LCPC, LCSW, or LPC
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, or residential settings
  • Experience with group facilitation, ASAM criteria, and the 12-Step recovery model
  • Registered Clinical Supervisor in the State of Idaho, having completed required supervision credentials
  • Experience supervising clinicians and leading teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in EHR systems, documentation, and Microsoft or Google tools
  • Pre-employment drug screening and random testing as applicable
  • Enhanced background check through Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
  • CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days
  • Completion of onboarding and orientation requirements
  • Must be in recovery with a minimum of 18 months sobriety unless otherwise approved

Responsibilities

  • Provide 100% supervision of clinical staff (location specific)
  • Conduct weekly supervision meetings with clinicians
  • Train and mentor clinical team on documentation, best practices, and treatment standards
  • Oversee group curriculum and ensure program fidelity
  • Oversee interns in the Boise location
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy
  • Maintain a minimum caseload and therapy hours
  • Lead or facilitate psychoeducational and didactic groups as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and clinical consultation
  • Oversee all clinical documentation including assessments, notes, MTPs, and discharge summaries
  • Ensure Utilization Reviews are accurate and completed on time
  • Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Monitor incident reporting, risk management, and documentation standards
  • Participate in Leadership, Clinical, and Risk Management meetings
  • Support program development and staff training initiatives
  • Coordinate step-down care, aftercare planning, and graduations
  • Represent Brick House Recovery in the community through outreach and education
  • Work under minimal supervision with high autonomy
  • Lead and influence clinical excellence across the program
  • Ensure continuity of care for all clients
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, medical teams, and community partners
