About The Position

In this mid-level management position and under direct supervision of the Administrator, the Clinical Director provides leadership, coordination, and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary team(s) and/or program(s). Assists Administrator with quality improvement duties. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance. While on-call, employees must actively monitor communications (e.g., phone, email) and respond in accordance with operational protocols.

Requirements

  • Master's or higher degree in Social Services
  • Current licensure/registration in the state of program operation (except for out-of-state applicants with existing licensure in good standing) as LCSW, LMFT, LMFT, Ph.D./Psy.D.
  • Three years of postgraduate direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
  • Valid and current driver’s license
  • Personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year in leadership role in an inpatient setting
  • Experience in a locked setting is preferred
  • The clinical director can be an M.D or D.O.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, coordination, and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary team(s) and/or program(s).
  • Assists Administrator with quality improvement duties.
  • Participates in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe.
  • Actively monitors communications (e.g., phone, email) and responds in accordance with operational protocols while on-call.
  • Directs the clinical program and provides general direction of the professional and nonprofessional staff.
  • Responsible for the quality of the clinical services provided in the facility, in conjunction with the Administrator.
